Spend an atmospheric evening in Aswan and let the legends of Philae come alive. Our representative will collect you from your hotel and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to the docks for the short crossing to Agilkia Island, where the Philae Sound & Light show is staged inside the temple complex. The one-hour multimedia performance uses music, narration and carefully placed lighting to highlight columns, reliefs and courtyards while telling the story of Isis and the site’s journey from its Ptolemaic origins through Nubian and modern conservation efforts. The effect is cinematic — ruins glow against the night sky and sound effects add drama — making it a memorable way to experience the temple after dark. The program includes guide services, entrance fees and transfers; tipping and personal expenses are not included. After the show our representative will escort you back to your vehicle and return you to your Aswan hotel. Note that show schedules and photography rules are set by the site authorities and can change; we recommend arriving with light layers and comfortable shoes for walking on uneven surfaces.
